That 7MM figure is cheating IMO. It is sales to PC makers. That is like Cisco selling stock to resellers and counting it as sold when it is still in resellers' warehouses.

I guess the channel is partially filling in the hope of making some Christmas sales. Whether those sales happen is another story, and completely independent of the 7MM in two weeks claim.
