As of the close of market today I'm up 44% for the year - the Dow is up something like 20% and NASDAQ Composite up 12.5% since the first of the year.

Sounds great but note that I'm moderately leveraged with margin, and secondly quite a bit of the gain has come from stocks I've held for more than two years and the value is just now being recognized by the market.

What will really tell the story is what happens when the market goes south, which it will at some point. As Buffett says, when the water level drops we'll see who has a bathing suit on.
