Thanks for pointing that out, Herb. Most of the debt was extinguished by (effectively) selling new stock at about today's market price (which results in no dilution).

About $50 million of it was simply paid off. So, I'd say you're right (and I was wrong!) if you claim they're down about $160 million for the 9 month period in which P4 and Itanium were launched, and there were worldwide recessions in PC and flash demand.

Now, were you going to post a similar analysis for Intel, or should I?
