c'mon... it's just a '70s song... 'deep inside we're all the same..' that's an age-old debate... i don't know but i've been told that india-persia once had a thriving buddhist culture. the same source stated that iraq's culture is similar, but the rest of the arab countries are not... apparently an underlying common culture runs from india all the way to iraq... same source said those buddhist statues the taliban blew up had some jewels in them... many people were against the demolishing of the buddhas... somehow i think buddha might laugh... but it does show one facet of the character of the taliban... i have a buddhist friend who wants to nuke the talis on the basis of those statues alone... that's what i seem to gather anyway... andy
