Most likely, the taliban retreat augurs in a period of guerilla war in the mountains. Most folks think this will happen. I think it possible that b-l and his top staff and fighters will try to get out thru pakistan and may turn up in Iraq. There was some weird news of some shelling in Kuwait yesterday. Could these two goons unite for a last stand? If so watch for a joint US, Turkish, Iranian assault to finish him/them off once and for all. What i am most worried about is that in such a scenario, nukes may be used by the bad guys. In such a scenario look for the Israelis to play a key role in fighting alongside US, Iran, Turkey. I am hoping CIA types are on the ground there and we will be able to neutralize this before it happens. Imagine an ultimatum given to Kuwait by Hussein/binladen--Surrender or we nuke you! Now folks, I am just brainstorming a bit today. I said guerilla war in Afghanistan was most likely outcome of todays retreat by taliban. mike
