Hi Me,
David's back to stirring up the pot, nothing more. Nothing has changed radically for CNXT, IMO. With interest rates at 40 year lows, smart money is starting to look at the stock market for better yields. I'm not overly excited about CNXT's recent run but it's a nice step in the right direction. CNXT is a solid company with plenty of good products. When an industry downturn occurs, like the one we're in now, companies become more efficient or get left in the dust. We saw a similar situation in the oil/ng industry during the 2nd half of 98 and the first half of 99. The belts were tighten and the dead weight from the previous excess was pitched. Leaner and meaner companies were able to rebound when the segment's fundamentals turned up for the better. The same thing will happen in the semi industry. The dead weight will be left behind and a the industry will be better in the long run. We've seen plenty of layoffs as well as the fact that capital spending has been reduced or eliminated by many companies. It's not over but there are reasons to believe that the light at the end of the tunnel is brighter than it was 6 months ago.

I don't think anyone believes that things are rosy, far from it. At the same time, the doom and gloom was pretty thick and, IMO, there have been some over reactions to the downside. Corrections occur in both directions and I believe we are seeing a pop because of the recent over reaction to the downside.
