David everyone is right at some point. The fact is that if you are being honest with yourself you'll know you weren't any more right than most of the posters on this thread. In fact, you always had the details wrong. Further, I haven't forgotten you pulled out of the market in aug 1998, which I assume was prompted by prechter's predictions. Your reliance on Elliot wave analysis is foolish. Since Aug 1998 you have been expecting the market to go lower; the fact is, even with this correction, we haven't retested those lows - yet. The only conclusion one can reach then is you are still wrong.
