I find it fairly amusing to see people accusing me of name calling and rock throwing, when, in fact, the exact opposite is true.

Don’t get sensitive on me David. I didn’t intend to offend you. Its just my opinion that elliot wave analysis appeals to individuals with little fundamental understanding of markets, or mathematics. That’s why I used to get a kick out you claiming that your “analysis” of CNXT involved math. As you may recall, I tested you on the Elliot thread you made a while back - I presented you with a time series to analyze – one that was purely random. Not only didn’t you recognize that fact, but you then admitted you didn’t really know wave analysis very well.

So, just a little probing revealed that you didn’t have much backing your opinions other than what you could find at contrarian.com and flecks column. Ordinarily I wouldn’t bother responding to you, because, apparently, you are blinded by ignorance and arrogance, but I feel an obligation to the thread to point out that you are mostly full of hot air – even if I sometimes I agree with you.

BTW, I read Prechter work some years ago. Clearly, there is wave behavior evident in equity prices, I often think about that during my commute down the peninsula on the 101. I understand that hydrodynamic models have been used to describe traffic flow – I wonder if similar models can be used to describe price evolution?

We have gone below the lows of Aug 1998 and bounced back up.

Yes and no; Dow low in Aug 98 was 7539.10, NASDAQ low was 1499. As I recall, you said you pulled out of Nasdaq at around 1350.

Deflation is on its way and much worse is to come.

Deflation and inflation at the same time?
