What I said there is true. It still holds up. Yahoo is no doubt still the fastest growing global media company. Look at the user metrics.

When the cycle turns up and advertising revives, Yahoo will still be one of the few tier 1 players. That's what I mean by secular growth. Quarter after quarter during this downturn Yahoo's usage increases.

The dot-com bust hit Yahoo's top line especially hard, but it hasn't stopped Yahoo's growth.

For comparison, just because the advertising market blew up in 1971 and 1974 didn't mean that network TV was any less a tornado business at those points in its astonishing growth.
