Brookelise; I sure enjoy your choice of music with the charts. It could be that the Holy Grail is a synthesis of music and TA. You've got to admit the funny colored lines of overlayed indicators are lyrical. It is possibly because they are measuring the emotions of the scared or elated crowd they look so whimsical. Since they are really charting a human course on a sea of emotions filled with dragons, sea monsters, big fish, little fish, mermaids, and those wonderful singing women whose voices lure the ships to shipwreck. Golly! The markets are the last really mythical environment. Its a wonder they are not the wellspring of more art.

As fundamental analysis has gone to including weather chart analysis (measuring the winds and waves), why not Wagner (an expert in these matters) showing up as a talking head on CNBC.

Maybe fundamentalist don't like TA because the charts are too lyrical, not puritanical enough for them.
