But you don't object to even the most obscene statements from the Zionist contingent. Why is that? Cause I know it isn't going to happen. If it was going to happen it already would have. I see two solutions to the Israeli problem. One, Israel could simply be a bit nicer - dismantle the settlements, treat the Palestinians like humans (ignore the Halacha), etc. Dismantling the settlements - I'd be in favor of that. But it wouldn't produce peace by itself. That won't happen till there is a change of heart in a majority of the Palestinians. The best reason for dismantling the settlements is to allow a separation of the two populations for a generation or more. As far as Palestinians being treated like human beings - I doubt Halacha has anything at all to do with this. What does have to do with it is the atrocities Palestinians commit against civilians on a regular basis with near 100% Palestinian public approval. Peace can't be achieved till the Palestinians begin treating Israelis like human beings who have a right to live. Two, dismantle Israel and ship the Jews to America. We can easily handle that, and it would probably save us money and definitely save us a lot of headache. About as realistic as bringing the Palestinians here - a non-starter.
