Global Investment relaunches Planning for Profits

Tue 13 Nov 2001

News Release

Mr. Leo Chamberland reports

Global Investment Financial Group has relaunched "Planning for Profits"
magazine. The cover story is an exclusive interview with Mexican President
Vincente Fox. Planning for Profits will be distributed at the end of
November, but will be available to Investment.com members on-line at the
media centre prior to distribution. The next issue will appear in February
in conjunction with the February issue of Mutual Fund Review, Global
Investment's other consumer finance magazine. Publishing simultaneously
provides cost efficiencies and the opportunity to cross-market editorial
content, thereby increasing market penetration for both publications and
enhancing revenues.
The company originally purchased Planning for Profits in January, 2000, and
retitled the property Investment.com Magazine. As part of management's goal
of re-establishing Global Investment, the magazine is reverting to its
original name and focus -- personal investment information and
opportunities.
"We are excited about resurrecting another revenue source for GIG as well
as offering readers additional insight and information on personal
investing," stated Leo Chamberland, president and chief executive officer
of the company. "We know readers will enjoy the interview with the
president of Mexico and as a result will look forward to future issues
which will continue to aid them in making their investment decisions."
