Michael, Iran is finally realizing that it can not isolate itself forever. Its Oil revenues might not be enough for itself sometime later. Many countries are finding Oils in their midst. Even the Philippines recently started using its own Natural Gas Find thereby cutting the country's dependence of imported oil by 30%. There are also oil finds like 30,000 barrels per day and more to come ... Meanwhile, there will be alternative source of fuels like Fuel cells for the benefit of the whole world. There will be a time when Oil producing countries will have Not as much clout as before. Its neighbors like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and others realize they can not live with their Oil forever. So they are busy developing their respective countries economically by other means --- to the extent of employing skilled Foreign workers like Filipinos numbering hundreds of thousands to help them. Iran is waking up, why not use its Oil Wealth now while its very much valuable to fund the Development of the country --- like what its neighbors are doing now?
