The best aspect of being in a position to be a tourist is actually allowing oneself to become a tourist. If Putin appreciates being a tourist as much as tourism can be appreciated it should be a worthwhile foreign relations venture. Not that anything remarkable will come of it...but since no harm can come of it, it's a good gesture.
