venk, i can count myself among the deflationist bearistas for some time, but i sincerely doubt from the evidence that this thing is going straight to hell in a handbasket, the buy n hold everybody bought during the late 90's is dead, but i doubt any sell and hold will work either, trade the trends and get out and reverse when the tide doesn't keep coming in.

look at what low interest rates has done for demand in autos and home mortages refi's.

and the corps, have been holding off on any major it upgrade cycle for a year now, while chip speeds have doubled,

and now that the CRB is down to the 98 lows and you have gas selling at a $1 to $1.20, WOW and even during a war.

i hope they capture the vermin alive, but i doubt that will be the case.
