Marx could give an answer or two, or at least hints, on this subject. For me it boils down to the questions of "who owns the productive means" and "how the newly created wealth is distributed". And somehow - I'm not a very deep-probing thinker at the moment - it's drifting in my mind out of economic into the social/moral waters.
