So Spyglass is probably a pretty poor investment since they seem
to be putting most of their eggs in the embedded Web browser
basket. They are also doing their own embedded Web server,
but I think it is going to be tough sale. Because Web servers
are relatively straight-forward pieces of code to write, I
expect most RTOS vendors to do their own, leaving very
little business left over for Spyglass. Vertical integration is
the key in the RTOS business nowadays and Spyglass seems to
be trying to go horizontal.
