Charles, I bought a refurbished PC from Dell a while back, and it didn't even come with a Windows CD. It was all preinstalled, and came with a utility that could write the entire hard disk onto something like 40 floppies. I would have thought that nearly 60 years of computer science could have come up with a better delivery mechanism than that, but then, not every tech company is concerned with little details like quality and elegance.
