Let me put it this way: Isotropically pure silicon & SOI technology do have more attraction than "ovonics"! Looks to be a lot cheaper just investigating this than going down the SOI road though. Also, industry leading companies that have the money have to look into multiple technologies in different areas. IBM and Intel come to mind. So, speaking of SOI, Intel looked into it and decided it isn't worth it, did you hear. Tony
