john722, about those equipment suppliers

JNPR and CSCO are two of their suppliers.

While many MFs and institutions are buying into a forecast of a general recovery 6 months away, I fear it will be at least a year but probably longer for the network suppliers to start to recover. They won't begin a strong recovery until their customers have recovered and have more money for capex.

One way JNPR is trying to grow is that they are selling more of a different type of product than they were producing a year, before capex reductions started. Also, a few days ago they bought a cable company to partially act as a hedge for their expected reduced growth.
