I believe the safety margin is half that. I think the govt. is in panic--wouldn't you be? It is possible that the air travel system for the average Joe could simply vanish if this goes on. A lot is at stake here, including freedom. I still think the US citizenry is too well-armed to worry about a totalitarian state.
