Candy/Discretionary Spending

I don't want to sound to much like a total cheerleader, but in recessions, candy is one item that tends not to get cut back. Or if it does, SHD has lower priced brands to it's advantage over the big 4. How can you say no to a good child at the check out line at Walmart?
