12:21AM Sector Watch: Semiconductors : -- Technical -- Sell pressure on semiconductors is weighing on the Nasdaq as the SOX is lower by 1.9% at this point in the session. The index topped out on an intraday basis at 553 which approximates an area of prior support in July/August. It is currently trading in a relatively tight range between 530 to 534. On a break higher, look for initial resistance at 543 followed by subsequent overhead around 550/553.
