ot Here's a vote for KB and Ed. By Diana's reasoning we should be targeting Saudi Arabia, from whence most of the 9/11 terrorists came. Egypt too. And let's not leave out our militia friends at home in the USA when we're talking about a "final solution" to terrorism. Let's see. There are parts of Wash., Id., Montana, hell, just about every state, where future Timothy McVeigh's are bouncing on mommies' knees while daddy stockpiles fertilizer and oil (or maybe grows a little anthrax just for giggles) while spewing hate for just about everyone that doesn't meet his ideals--not much different than bin Ladin and crowd.

But we've already been around that treacherous debate Horn more than once, and I doubt we will ever see eye to eye, so I'd rather switch back to the markets.

Any thoughts on the whither the Oil Patch? It's pointing south again, but I still don't see how the weakness can continue very long unless the talking heads have been lying to us about "Happy days are here again (or at least just around the corner)" re. the world's economy. In which case the market is being levitated with the kind of smoke and mirrors that would do Penn and Teller proud. In other words, sump'ms got to give IMHO.
