More Concrete Proof: Bill Clinton Is Still An Idiot

By
Isaiah Flair

Yes. Bill Clinton is still an idiot.

For an explanation of this Tarzan-istic assertion, let´s take a look at the recent speech of Former President Bill Clinton.

Clinton, who is best known for getting impeached, repeatedly cheating on his wife, repeatedly taking questionable campaign contributions, and repeatedly lying under oath, recently had this to say:

"Here in the United States, we were founded as a nation that practiced slavery…"
That´s misleading, Bill. Where did you go to college again? Since you enjoy parsing words, I´ll point out that your use of the word "as" quite intentionally implies that slavery was an ideological foundation of our nation. It was not. Neither the Constitution nor the Declaration of Independence endorse slavery; rather, they started us down a path which resulted in the abolition of slavery, something which never should have existed in the first place.

"…and slaves quite frequently were killed even though they were innocent."
True. And a criminal act by every moral measure. But Bill, two points:

One, what possible good does it do to bring this up 136 years after the last instance of it? Are you dead-set on encouraging racial conflict?

Two, the killing of innocents is obviously referenced in order to draw some sort of moral equivalency between your historical view of America and the recent terrorist acts. That´s treason, Bill. It´s the rhetoric of a ditz.

"[America is] paying a price today"
Comments like that lay the blame for anti-American terrorism at the doorstep of those who are victimized by it. Hey, Bill, have you seen the picture of the baby who was held out of a World Trade Center window so she could breathe after terrorists crashed an airplane into the building? Do you know that the same baby is dead now?

The baby isn´t to blame, Bill. The office-workers aren´t to blame either. Neither is this country. The ones to blame are the ones who destroyed the World Trade Center, along with those who supported, encouraged, and harbored them.

"In the first Crusade, when the Christian soldiers took Jerusalem, they first burned a synagogue with 300 Jews in it and proceeded to kill every man, woman and child who was a Muslim on the Temple Mount. I can tell you that story is still being told today in the Middle East, and we are still paying for it"
OK, Bill, first you inflame racial divisiveness, and now you´re setting religions against each other? This definitely qualifies as not helpful. You know, after Jimmy Carter left office, he started building houses for poor people. That qualifies as helpful. Please note the difference.

And besides, if we could live in the now, instead of in the several hundred years ago, that would suit just fine. No one wants to argue Isaac vs. Ishmael over again.

"Those of us who come from various European lineages are not blameless."
Well, there´s your semantic triad, Bill. Now you´re using codfish-level rhetoric to pit nationality-based ethnicities against one another. Have I mentioned the degree to which you qualify as really, really, really not helpful? Houses, Bill. Building Houses. That qualifies as helpful.

You´re an idiot, Bill.

Still.
