Driving home the other night, we seen an incredible display of Aurora Borealis AKA the Northern Lights. I was amazing. The colors were incredible. It was like someone had turned on the lights at 10:00 at night. Not sure how long it lasted, (not very long) but honestly it was like it was daylight. I had never seen anything like that. Earlier in the week we had been commenting on the beautiful pink color of the sky at dusk.
Took the opportunity with the kids to look up info on this event. Looks like this weeks lesson will be on meteor showers. I do hope our sky stays clear to see it!!!

Thanks for the info!!
Jane
