How can we possibly believe that they REALLY want to change? Almost all criminals say they are really sorry for what they have done AFTER THEY GET CAUGHT! They have stated that they want to kill all Americans, Jews and Hindus. They don't like Buddhists too much, either. As far as I am concerned, they have forfeited their right to live on this earth with the rest of us. Would you like them to move to your neighborhood?
Are you willing to go to Afghanistan and tell the NA and all the people there who have been subjected to their tyrannical rule for several years the same thing? It's a waste of time telling me, I can't do much about it. Also, since we haven't been the victims of the Taliban (excepting the WTC attacks etc.), I don't think we are in a position to judge what the Afghanis should do to them. If someone had been terrorizing me for years, forcing my sons to go fight for them under the threat of death, beating my female friends and even shooting them on soccer fields, I would be killing as many of them as I could when I got the chance. Not so much for revenge, but so they can't come back and do it again. That's called survival. The Taliban love death, so they say, let them have what they love! |
