Government fraud is institutionalized, given the protection of the law. It is the FAILURE to dismiss workers and send them to pursue productive tasks that robs the aggregate public. Private companies have crises, go down, and the workers are forced to move on to productive positions, as defined by the changing labor market. (The worker bears part of the risks and should, as a result, become a more perceptive and intelligent taxpayer.) They are thus NOT dead weight, as they become in the public sector.

CREATIVE DESTRUCTION. It isn't just for breakfast anymore. Take it away, and economics breaks down, and, ultimately, the society dies. Liberals just don't GET that...
