The answer is just a few points away. As mentioned above, a break below 1580 on NDX would make the down scenario more likely.

On the 15 min I see a possible forming diagonal, with this morning's high being 'c', the pullback 'd', and another upswing needed for 'e'. I am short QQQ's from about 40 bucks this morning.
