did you see CNBC display a 50-point high chart for AMAT to make the 1.87 point drop seem miniscule? The girl who was reading the chart said that there was little price change in response to the earnings report and conference call. Then the next chart was a chart about 4 points in height, and that stock's price change of 50 cents looked large. Nice trick by CNBC.
