re: Why anyone would buy at these levels is beyond me. What fraction of AMAT investors listen to the Conference Calls? (a lot less than 100%) What fraction read the 10-Qs? What fraction know anything more than, "stock's going up, it's in a hot sector, company makes some gee-whiz gismo everyone needs 50 of"? If there is Smart Money, that means there has to be Dumb Money, in equal proportion.
