Hi Keith; Re XM Satellite Radio XMSR, I subscribe to the Cabot Market Letter and they had this company as the Aug 2001 stock of the month. They have since dropped it from their watch list.
Some of the highlights of the letter:

There are 208 million cars on the road. Almost 90% of the people who commute by car listen to at least 50 minutes of radio a day. If XM can get its system in just 20% of the cars out there, it will bring in revenues of nearly 5 billion per year!

XM and Sirius Satellite Radio were the winning bidders in an FCC auction for S type bandwidth. Cabot is saying that this is like a government-arranged duopoly.

The main risk as they see it, is that the public won't buy it. A previous satellite communications failure was Iridium, which sucked up 5 billion of investors capital.

Are you paying $9.95 per month? I guess you like to be at the leading edge of technology.

I do not have an electronic copy of this 2 page report but I can mail you a copy if you PM me your name and address.
