Stan, max pain[tm] can be a sanity check, but can also be way off. Example: for CPQ max pain[tm] is 7.5 but the stock is now at 10. BTW, on the site I linked before you can have it calculated for months in the future. Of course that only reflects CURRENT sentiment and will change as expiration approaches. Gottfried
