Hi Mark,
OK, no sweat. Didn't expect any real analysis - never expect, just hope.
If the markets remain strong, a currently working scan is to find stocks that have gapped open on greater volume and held the gap. Real complicated voo doo there. To be a bit more precise, one should then draw support and resistance levels, ID current pattern and pick your ponies for the next day's race. If you're lucky, you won't fall out of the saddle at the gate.
For those who'd like to try a lap, here's a few (with an occasional comment) to study or watch: LVLT (I'm still in, 'nuff said), CORV (hit your target, Mark, but closed nice), SIRI (why did I take off last Fri, if it stalls tomorrow keep on watching), AKAM (will it gap over 6? look at that volume pattern), PKTR (OK, volume is still thin, but look at that 2x bottom), HOTJ (is it time to get out of the box?), VITR (check price, volume, pattern - will 5 get taken out tomorrow?). Have fun every one.
