Eighteen posts... ...to this thread yesterday, November 14th, and it's the #1 thread on SI. This empirical datum supports the premise, I think. Also, has anyone else noticed that "Cool Posts" has disappeared. Apparently, SI no longer has anyone scanning the threads. Despite this, my view is that SI will survive as a boutique message board. Raging Bull and Yahoo can keep their 10 or 100 times SI post volume - there isn't an ounce of intellectual content on either of them.
