(Nasdaq: BELM - news), a leading value-added provider of storage products and solutions, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE: CPQ - news) to distribute its line of industry-standard ProLiant(TM) servers and StorageWorks(TM) enterprise storage products in the U.S. Through this distribution agreement, the company will offer leading Compaq enterprise products, services and solutions to its large customer base of VARs, resellers, OEMs and system integrators in the U.S. Bell Microproducts is the leading Compaq enterprise distributor in the U.K. through its Ideal Hardware subsidiary.
