It is not whining to point out that Putin has a history of being a hard line Communist - a former official in the KGB. It is not whining to point out that Bush seems to be bending over backwards to please Putin in hopes of building support for his missile defense plans. It is not whining to suggest we might be able to trust this Communist hardliner who is very unlike his predecessor - Yeltsin.
