To expand on my comment of yesterday - why aren't stocks higher? The money pulled out of bonds the last two days dwarfs the gains in the market. Where's it all going?

We are close to the level where even an Elliotician would say a cyclical bottom is in - 1934, the bottom of wave 1 off the 5-22 peak (1164 on SPX and 10,120 on the Dow). Also, no Nasdaq rally has cleared the .618 level yet; I have that at 1968 or so.

But it's also hard to find examples of any move this big in history that didn't have at least a .5-.618 retracement.

Man, that AMAT news was BAD and they're still spending clownbux on it. -g-

Wish I'd bought more CWP - up 30-35% since I bought it. With $11 billion in cash, an $11 billion market cap, and a 6% yield, it was the only tech bargain I saw.
