<Underwriters Have Exercised Option to Purchase Additional Securities> Sure they did. Got to find cover for the previous short sells on the sly, without competition, away from the open market, without creating any buying pressure. Ever wonder why the individual investor is shut out of the convertible scheme? Consider LU is just junk according to the Street. Huge short position. YET did you see the line of convrtible buyers for them? And their eagerness to buy a whole lot more above the regular issue. A'holes couldn't buy that gift fast enough.
