When we moved her assets over to my sister the magic number was three years but that was roughly seven or eight years ago. It was actually her idea, she used to be very sharp.

But that's very true, you cannot start any Estate Planning or planning for issues like Medicaid at the last minute. Difficult topic, but that's the drill.
