No, I am not just talking about food and language. I am talking about such concepts as dual nationality. Many countries allow citizens of the United States to be citizens of the other country, e.g., Israel and Ireland. And many United States citizens have two passports, and can, and do, fulfill military obligations to two countries.

Bush told other countries that they are either with us or against us in the fight against terrorism, but he did not extend that to United States citizens. We have the right to dissent, as long as we do not break the law.
