You had to go and curse my printer last week, didn't ya?
Actually it ain't your fault. It just needed new color
and B/W cartridges that cost $55. I last replaced them in
March and don't use my printer much. So instead I'm of
replacing the cartridges I'm replacing the printer. Canon
just came out with a new model, the S635 which goes for
~$200 so the old model is being discounted. Buy.com had
a killer price but is out of stock. I found in a place in
NJ that has it for $14 more and will ship it out today UPS
ground, so I should get it by Tues. By getting it from NJ I
don't get charged tax which ~ covers the shipping. The new
model is a little faster and comes with Win XP drivers but the
Canon site all ready has an XP update for the old one so that's
a mute point. What's awesome about both models is they
have 3 color cartridges so you only need to replace what
you use up. Each cartridge is only about $12. The cost
per color page printed is about 1/3 the price of what it
was with my old printer. With the old printer the CD covers
I make cost about the same price as the jewel boxes. How's
that for ridiculous?
