My humble thanks. I enlisted after Vietnam and have never seen combat. I have known many combat veterans and have never known any which enjoyed speaking of their war experiences. My wife's father was in WWII and was haunted by nightmares to the end of his life. Korea and Vietnam both also made heavy tolls on American lives. Those living and dead who have served this country in uniform, particularly in battle, have my unending gratitude for their defense of the American way of life.

BTW, JDN is a Vietnam combat veteran Marine.
