You said....." One may think disloyal thoughts and have his heart on the side of the enemy. Yet if he commits no act giving aid and comfort to the enemy, he is not guilty of treason.<< "....

If a person ( during time of war in her/his country )should openly oppose their Government's actions to defend its citizens and favor the enemy, should this be considered
" Aid and Comfort" ?

If this person should organize or incite others to demonstrate against their lawful Government ( during war )
should this person and his/her followers be considered to be Aiding and Comforting the enemy?

And in any case with or with out the laws don't you think that this kind of person is guilty of aiding and comforting the enemy?....Common sense works well most times.

IMO not all laws serve us well, a lot of them are used by our enemies to kill us and I think before this mess is finished a lot of these political correct laws will be removed from the books. At least that is my hope

PS. Oxford Dictionary.....Treason.....treachery towards one's country or its ruler.....
