Anyone here ever hear the argument that the Turner Valley
formations were drilled in a disasterous way back in the first discovery of oil/gas in that area. I was told by a geophysical contact that the gas was flared their for years and although oil exists, the recovery rate is negligeable because of lost pressure from flaring the 'gas cap' (i believe that was the term, too much. The point is that if these jrs do find anything, producing it will be a challenge and sustaining it may be tough as well.

Anyone heard this scenario as well?
