Re: I just don't think it's going to look very well… IMHO, AMD really should smack another 256kB cache on Athlon. You might be in for quite a surprise, since AMD can store more locations in 384K than Intel can in 512K due to AMD's shorter cache line and 20-way dual discrete cache architecture.
