<Mobile operators in the United States posted a collective $31 billion in sales during the six months ending in June -- a nearly 26 percent hike from combined revenues as of June 2000, according to CTIA's Semi-Annual Wireless Industry Survey, released today. >

So, that's $60 billion per year, just for the USA. So I guess there is about $300 billion a year in mobile revenue worldwide [give or take $100 billion].

So, it's no great stretch of imagination to think that Globalstar could sell $10 billion a year when the technology is more mature and marketing is sensible. That would mean a few more constellations to supply the capacity.

To sell $1 billion a year from the existing constellation is simple. That's only about 10c a minute [when fully built out and with a 1xRTT upgrade in the gateways - which I suppose can be done].
