did you know that when i was in
elementary school - grades 5 and 6,
girls could not wear jeans/trousers
to school? and this was a public
school - no uniforms. even in the
dead of winter, when it was colder
than a witch's tit - no pants for the
girls.

and when i was 20, lounges at the
major hotels in toronto would not allow
women dressed in pants (no matter how
fancy) to enter their establishment.
that was in the early sixties.

we had to break the laws that the sign makers
made.
