"Putin is a very smart guy. When he was anti US he was very effective" Hi Ish. Your comment about his being effective (even though anti-U.S.) is pertinent I think. When I saw the Barbara Walters interview I was impressed by his answer to one of her questions of the "did you kill anybody" variety. His answer was no (which may or may not be true) but he went on to say that he is proud of his past in that he always did good by his country. I beleive he is an honorable guy, and I also beleive he will continue to do good for his country. In this case he will do good for his country by working with the U.S. to end this scourge on civilization. The whole world will benefit and he knows that. In fact, I believe that he knew the importance of this menace more fully than we did prior to 9-11-01. He was the 1st head of state to call Bush that day. That said, do you wanna sell your atv?
