John, that's interesting that you feel that way. I actually felt that way myself until very recently. Now I'm not so sure. Could web T.V. actually increase the market for PC's by encouraging a larger percentage of the population who have never seen the Web to invest in a PC later when they upgrade? Maybe?

Here's my thinking... Let's say your a person who has never owned a PC. You see the Web advertised everywhere. Your also a bit intimidated by a PC and all the knowledge of hooking into the web. So instead you see and buy one of these web T.V.'s for about $350.00. Now you surf the net for a few months, learn about all the great software from chat rooms and places like SI, but you can't download or try them. Maybe having a video phone intrigues you. Your now confortable with the web, so you invest in a personal computer and enlarge the PC ownership pie.
